Over the last two decades, Noam Murro has directed award-winning spots for brands including Guinness, Land Rover, Got Milk?, Saturn, Volkswagen, Nike, Adidas, Comcast, HBO, DirecTV, Jameson and Heineken, among others, picking up many Gold Lions from Cannes, AICP Awards and One Show Pencils along the way. He has been nominated for DGA Director of the Year seven times, and took home the honour in 2005 and in 2011. In 2008, Noam made his feature debut with Miramax’s critically acclaimed Smart People. His second feature, Warner Bros.’ 300: Rise of an Empire, debuted at #1 in March 2014. In 2015, he was invited to participate in the 25th anniversary of the Saatchi New Director Showcase at Cannes, and was shortlisted for Director of the Year by Shots Magazine. He is currently in production on a miniseries adaptation of Watership Down through the BBC and Net ix, starring James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, John Boyega, and Sir Ben Kingsley.
Noam co-founded Biscuit Filmworks with Managing Director Shawn Lacy in 2000; the company is highly regarded for its smart, sophisticated work.
