rag & bone announces a new concept to present its Fall 2019 collection, through a sensory experience and dinner: ‘A Last Supper’.
Hosted by Marcus Wainwright, Christine Jones (Director of Queen of the Night), Nigel Godrich and an Artificial Intelligence System; the dinner was curated by Chef Ignacio Mattos (Estela) and Tamar Adler, with a special performance developed by Choreographer, Damien Jalet (Suspiria).
SpecialGuest - the creative arm of 1stAveMachine have created another weird and wonderful project with Rag&Bone, but this time its more of a sensory experience!
To launch the Rag&Bone's A/W 2019 collection, they hosted a dinner party - ‘A Last Supper’ - which features a surprising guest - a custom Artificial Intelligence created by artist and Creative Technologist Ross Goodwin and voiced by Radiohead's Thom Yorke. Over the course of the evening, the AI effectively learned about what a dinner party actually is, culminating with a demonstration of the “knowledge” it gathered. The event was accompanied by music, an eclectic cast of performers
Throughout the evening, guests were captured with cameras to generate data, creating a representation of how the AI sees the world. This content was incorporated into live futuristic video-scapes
The result of the evening was video documentation highlighting the rag & bone collection in a completely novel way, set to a specially remixed track by Thom Yorke.

The project amplifies the brand’s commitment to innovation and creativity, following last year’s mesmerizing short film, Why Can’t We Get Along, created by the same Aaron Duffy and SpecialGuest, staring Kate Mara and Ansel Elgort.
