The new spot from the shaving brand Billie breaks down the stigma surrounding women and body hair. With its campaign the 'Body Hair Project' back in 2018, Billie became the first women’s razor brand to show body hair in an ad.
Now the brand is back with a new campaign for Movember, and it’s celebrating two more “firsts”. It has become the first women’s razor brand to participate in Movember and the first women’s razor brand to show facial hair. The new campaign reflects a brand-new initiative that reminds everyone that women have upper lip hair too.
It should come as a shock to no one that women have body hair. But thanks to celebrities on the red carpet and more authentic advertising, body hair is becoming less taboo day by day.
RadicalMedia Director Agostina Gálvez perfectly captures the message in this playful spot that showcases women celebrating their facial hair by combing it, styling it with brow gel, and highlighting it with bright lipstick.
Movember is a fundraising effort for prostate and testicular cancer awareness through growing moustaches
