Fancy doing something a bit different?
Volunteer film roles abroad with charity Raleigh International.
If you have skills and experience in filming and are keen to go on an incredible adventure with a sustainable development charity to Borneo, Tanzania, Nepal or Nicaragua & Costa Rica, they’d love to hear from you.
You’ll need your own DSLR (or similar) camera, laptop with editing software, ability to work to a brief and a can-do attitude.
A Raleigh Expedition is an action-packed, meaningful adventure where you’ll get to experience life in a remote location in a way that you wouldn’t usually get the opportunity to. You’ll work on some vital sustainable development projects in the areas of natural resource management and safe water and sanitation projects with local communities as well as the leadership-building phase of trek. You’ll work with teams of young people while you capture footage of our work and the committed volunteers and local community members who make it happen.
This is a Volunteer Manager role for a charity, so you’ll need to do fundraising towards the projects they work on before you embark on your Raleigh Expedition (they’ll help you with this).
They’re looking for volunteers for spring, summer and autumn 2018. Please get in touch with them ASAP if you’re interested in spring 2018, which leaves in mid January.
Closing: December 22nd 2017
