“Great stories are born from silence - the fire makes us tell them, and the stars turn them into legends.”
Located in the middle of the desert of Oman, the Wubar archaeological site uncovers the ruins of an ancient city – a prosperous oasis where people once lived off farming and trading. A few months ago, as a way to promote both the history and cultural heritage of the region, an information centre opened at the archaeological site.
Nucco Brain partnered with the Wubar Information Centre and the University of Pisa, in charge of the archaeological mission, on this ambitious project. Using animation, the studio created a narrative to tell the story of Wubar from its origins to its modern day rediscovery. The narrative comes alive through an immersive experience where the animation is projected on a 15 meters long space within the information centre.
