The films show Irishman Mikey luxuriating in an Icelandic geothermal spa dressed as an egg having stopped off in Iceland instead of flying to London to be best man at his brother’s wedding. As his brother Robert faces up to the reality of not having a best man at his wedding, Mikey tries to justify his decision to spend a few days in Iceland by telling Robert about the free stopover.

Three teaser films show Mikey the Egg at beauty spots around Iceland including The Secret Lagoon, Gullfoss falls and the world-famous Strokkur Geyser.
