Seed Animation have produced 3 spots for the latest redspottedhanky.com campaign for Cogent Elliott. The 1 x 30” and 2 x 10” feature animated cartoony CGI characters in a magic land which is all part of - and wrapped up in -a red spotted hanky. Redspottedhanky.com is an online ticket buying site that rivals The Trainline. Seed were given some creative freedom with some of the visual gags and the client was refreshingly open to some slight dark humour. The brief was to create a sickly sweet looking world and some funny moments to add to what was already a funny script from Cogent. Voicing the spot is David Mitchell, who naturally adds to the wry humour and sarcasm with his unmistakeable style. The spot was created with Softimage, and composited in After Effects.
