The founders first made a name for themselves as editors before developing into directors and producers of content films and music videos. This creative and visual background can be seen throughout their work. They have become renowned for their craft and simplicity in approaching projects, which led to them recently winning two IPA awards. So welcome, Blonde, we look forward to sharing your work.

Our purpose is to Liberate Creativity from the shackles of bureaucracy!
Blonde was created by a couple of blondes from Essex with a passion for making films. Benjamin Dawson & Doug Newman started in the film & advertising industries as professional editors in the early 2000s. They swiftly moved into directing & producing thanks to their long & diverse experience in creative problem-solving. Fast-forward to the present day, their strong editing foundations ensure each project’s key messages are expressed accurately & clearly. As owners of Blonde they pride themselves in being intimately involved in all projects and oversee all creative output, ensuring it liberates creativity, each and every time.
We specialise in visual creative solutions using film, motion-graphics, photography and design. We partner with brands & agencies to create engaging, moving, provocative work. We work harder than most to make stuff happen. ‘No’ is a word which is never heard in the Blonde studio. The type of work we produce has been described by our clients as Serious or Sexy and sometimes Seriously Sexy! Working with us is always Simple & we understand the need to get things done at Speed.
We’re known for creativity, craft, quality, efficiency, flexibility and our service makes John Lewis look bad. We produce Commercials & Idents, Pre-Roll, Branded Content, Branded Entertainment, Facebook & Instagram ads, Digital Outdoor and Stakeholder Content.
Recent highlights include winning two Silvers for Best Cinematography and Best B2B Film at the 2016 IPA Best of Health Show for our film Demi’s Story for Novartis, producing a year’s worth of ‘always on’ content for the House of Peroni, which totalled 98 films for M&C Saatchi, and saving the Young Minds Parent’s Helpline with Richard Armitage!
