This Week We 'Sit Down With' with Director Meeto of Missing Link Films

16 April 2018

This week we got to 'Sit Down With' a Director who we've been admiring for some time.
Danish Director Meeto has a unique style all of his own: his work is full of humanity, aesthetic sensibility and a knack for storytelling. Although he has only been directing for two years, he has already created spots for Reebok, Coca-Cola, VANS, the list goes on. His spot “We Are Fighters” won silver at the Young Director Award in Cannes 2016, and was nominated for a Creative Circle Award. His fashion film for SOULLAND film won Best International Film at the Copenhagen Film Festival and premiered on I-D.

He is represented by Missing Link Films.

Yes very much. I’ve just finished my first long-form documentary film that, which is premiering at CPH DOC this week. The film is a cinematic journey into the alternative universe of “Sisters Academy - The Boarding School”. Here more than 30 performers staffed an experimental boarding school in a potential future society. During the stay students encountered an all-encompassing immersive world, where the sensuous and poetic are at the centre of all actions and interactions.
