Own the road
Studio AKA has produced a striking graphic 60 second spot for Toyota Motor Europe. Directed by Studio Aka’s Kristian Andrews, AKA was set the task by Saatchi & Saatchi Design of creating a black & white CGI animation that emotionally brought to life the technology within their flagship vehicle - the MC Avensis. The clean graphic style of the piece displays the capabilities of the Avensis in overcoming a number of potentially hazardous scenarios it is faced with, whilst maintaining an even and measured ride balancing the requirements of information overlays with a more tactile environment. The piece was animated in Softimage XSI, with hand drawn line work augmenting the image and compositing via After Effects.
